CCMSETUP.LOG File Error
CCMSETUP.LOG File Error
- I am seeing the following error in the log file.
Couldn't get directory list for directory 'http://servername.com/CCM_Client/i386/00000409'. This directory may not exist.
If I look in the Default Web Site/CCM_Client/i386 folder, there is no 00000409 there. It appears that the log gets past this point as shown here.
Couldn't get directory list for directory 'http://servername.com/CCM_Client/i386/00000409'. This directory may not exist.
Starting BITS download for client deployment files.
Download Update: Connecting to the server.
Download Update: 9748 out of 18732872 bytes transferred.
There is a 5 minute delay from when I see it connecting to the server to when the download occurs.
Why am I seeing the error about the directory may not exist? Is this a coding issue?
Thanks
Jed

- Hi,
Could you see ccmsetup.exe has been published into wsuscontent folder on WSUS server? Also, do you configure client to point to WSUS server. You can check %windir%\windowsupdate.log to check if any error message to download ccmsetup.exe from WSUS server. More info:

- How is the client being installed? Client push, manual install, or GPO/Login script? Can you share your installation switches?
Donnie Taylor Systems Management Engineer Dell, Inc. I am trying to push the client using WSUS. I added in the admin template for Configuration Manager 2007. My swtiches were CCMSETUP.EXE SMSSITECODE=P20.
