First try to install it via the web to see if it works. Else you can stop the Automatic Updates, delete the SoftwareDistribution folder and restart it.

Hi Mathhew, Thanks for the response.
I have tried manually by downloading it from website, it got failed on that attempt as well.
I could see error "Installation job encountered some failures. Error = 0x80240022" in updatehandler.log

Monday, July 16, 2012 5:56 PMI would see if you can download the individual patch and install it. I am not sure what the error is but could be found if you run the downloaded install and check the logs in the Event viewer.

Hi,
In addition, you can check your current time setting as the error 0x80240022 may refer to:
"The time service has detected that the system time needs to be changed by %1 seconds. The time service will not change the system time by more than %2 seconds. Verify that your time and time zone are correct, and that the time source %3 is working properly."
Thanks

Thanks MAthew and Quan,
The time zone is selected as GMT only. I could not find any difference.

Hi All,
Thanks for your responses.
Actually the issue is with the Virus access protection block. We have included the update in the exclusion list. It got resolved.
