Package version is not getting update
Package version is not getting update
- Hello All, Package is not getting updated to the latest version ON SECONDARY server. distmgr.log is showing following error. All other secondary servers are getting updated version of package. I am really confused. Please help.

previous i had deleted package twice but it did not work...now it has worked ...amazing.. third time lucky

Do you have an entry like this in the distmgr.log file?
Processing incoming file D:\Program Files\SMS\inboxes\distmgr.box\INCOMING\BZEKPF3U.PKG.
Package 000001F7 requires a newer version (41) of source files and the new compressed files haven't arrived yet, current version is 11, skip D:\Program Files\SMS\inboxes\distmgr.box\INCOMING\BZEKPF3U.PKG

Yes I get exactly the same error as you have mentioned. What do believe is the solution for this kind of problem. - One option is to remove the package from that DP, wait a little while and put it back. Another is to force it to the correct version using preloadpkg tool.
