Questionsoftware update do not install on deadline

    Hi all,

    I deploy a set of updates to SCCM clients. Updates show up with notification that will be installed on dealine time. But the deadline time has passed two days, these updates do not installed automatically. What cause this?

    Hi Roger,

    Check this report - States 1 - Enforcement states for a deployment. It will tell you why the installation didn't start (waiting for service window, content etc).

    It seems like you might have set some Maintenance Window. Check the collection and make sure there is no Maintenance Window. You can even double check the servicewindowmanager.log on the client machine to see that.

    Also I would recommend to run the report "States 1 - Enforcement State of a Deployment", this report will tell you exact status of the deployment.

    Hi all,

    Thanks for all your repley.

    1. This is no maintenance window setting in any collection.

    2. The report show with failed to install updates.

    Any other I need to check why updates are not installed?
