    Hi,

    Getting the following errors in a machine that's not installing updates any more..

    can anyone identify what's wrong? I haven't re-installed the client yet as I'd like to understand what's broken and why.

    0x8007000e = Out of memory.

     

    A quick google give this a something to try.

     

    1) stop the Automatic Updates service

    2) delete the SoftwareDistribution folder

    3) delete the WindowsUpdate.log (*NOT* the "windows update.log" file)

    4) start the AU service

    5) open a command prompt window and execute

    wuauclt /detectnow

    have you seen the built in reports? "Software Updates - E. Troubleshooting" these should help you.
