I'm not sure to understand well how scheduling works.
In the update deployment of SCCM I can set "date and time software udpate will be made available to clients". I suppose the client will start to download patches from DP at that date.
After that I can set a "deadline for software update installation". It's not that clear what it means. Will the client install the patches at the time indicated by the deadline or will it do it before the deadline time? I don't know if the deadline is the moment the update will be installed or the time limit the client has to install patches (that means it has to do it between download and deadline time).
Hope my question is clear...
Thanks in advance

If the updates havent been installed before the deadline occur, then they start to install when you have set the deadline.
The d"ate and time software uddate will be made available to clients" option set the time when the clients start to download the patches, but only if you set a deadline.
