QuestionSCCM Suppress Reboots on Software Updates

If I have the system restart suppressed in SCCM on both servers and workstations, why would some of my workstations continue to be restarted after the updates are installed?

    Hi Cindy,

Check %systemroot%\WindowsUpdate.log . Are you getting the below message?

Found a pending reboot, launching reboot UI
AU setting pending client directive to 'Reboot Warning'
WARNING: Initiating reboot since no user logged on
            AU invoking RebootSystem (OnRebootNow)

Please kindly check and reply. If you are getting the same message ,then we need to do one change in registry.

    Thanks,
    Raja

Hello - Sorry for the late response.  Turns out, we had automatic approvals turned on in the WSUS application that resides on our new management point (we upgraded from WSUS to SCCM).  So, once I turned that off the updates were only being directed by SCCM.  HOWEVER, I now have three machines rebooting (only 3), which are, in fact, receiving the message you listed above in the windowsupdate.log.  I'm hoping you're still available to provide the registry change?

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Regards,
    Cindy
