Default permissions on a New Folder on a Share

    Question

  • I am not sure if I should even ask this here but if someone could help I would be very grateful.

I have a Windows 2008R2 server with a shared folder(NTFS) called "Test". The two things i want users to be able to do are:

    1. All Users(On the domain) to be able to map this drive (which they already can do)
    2. When a user makes a folder in this share, by default that user and the DomainAdmin are the only 2 users with full control permissions to the folder. All other users cant even see the folder.

Firstly is this even possible? And if so than how? I have done some research and have come up with nothing yet.

    Thanks for reading.
