Microsoft DPM 2012 Rollup 3 mmc autonomous mmc console hangs while adding as snap-in works flawlessly

Hello everyone,
I've got a DPM 2012 updated to Rollup 3 whose mmc console hangs now and then when browsing through the various menus. This symptom persists even with the latest .net update. (The server is conveniently updated as well)
The situation comes as the form of large delays on information display (so mainly gui responsiveness time). This "hang" can last to a few seconds to a few minutes or until I forcibly shut down mmc service.
The curious thing is that this situation only happens if I open the console through DPM shortcut on the desktop, however if I open DPM gui through mmc add/remove snap-in, DPM gui runs smoothly without delays.
I'm looking for a reason, and thus, a fix for this.

Hi,
You should apply DPM 2012 SP1.
DPM 2012 SP1 is not available as standalone package. This is the same media for upgrade or new installations which requires a PID. You should download DPM 2012 with SP1 from one of the following sources, MVLS Portal, SA license, Technet subscription, MSDN, or Microsoft retail resellers.
