I had DPM 2010 and reports working without issue. I then did an in place upgrade to DPM 2012.

I had to reconfigure reporting after the upgrade. I have entered all the settings in options correctly and can successfully send a test email to any email address.

However when I go to configure a report to email on schedual I get an error saying I need to configure my SMTP settings. But they are setup already!!

    Can anyone help with this?

    Hi

I reproduced this and found a workaround http://flemmingriis.com/?p=813 where you manually set the smtp server in SQL reporting services , i would still advice to open a support case with microsoft to get a official fix.

I tried this but unfortunately it did not work for me.

If I change the SMTP details in DPM then they change in the Reporting Services Manager as well so I believe the connection is working correctly there.

    Thanks

My bad. I was logging into the old DPM2010 RS Manager.

It seems DPM2012 was updating the settings in Report Services for DPM2010 not 2012.
