When I deploy 2 printer via GPP 1 printer not appears

    Question

    • OS Printer server: Windows2008R2
    • Shared Printer: Printer1 (HP) and Printer2 (Toshiba)
    • OS client: Windows 7

I created an GPP for printer distribution. I targeted each printer with an different AD group (PrinterGroup1 and PrinterGroup2)

If I put the user member as PrinterGroup1 only, the Printer1 is correctly deploy.

If I put the user member as PrinterGroup2 only, the Printer2 is not appear on the client. I need to apply other GPO for disabling "Restrict Point and Time". With this GPO, the Printer2 is correctly deploy.

But, if I want to deploy both printer, only Printer1 appear on the client.

    Can you help me?

  • my mistake... I meant "point and print restriction" but I said "Restrict Point and time"

In the GPO I had, there was only the "Computer" section was set. So I add the configuration in the "user" section.

Now, does it work very well.

    In short:

Disable Point and print restrictions in Computer ConfigurationAND User Configuration

    Thanks for you help :)
