    Hi All,

           I am creating a protection group for a folder in C:\ drive in Data Protection Manager , the issue here is when i run the get-datasource cmdlets it displays output as C:\, but actually the protection group is created over a folder in c Drive. Why is it so? Can any one help?

    Hi ilyas,

    For volumes and Shares DPM shows as data source the drive letter of the protected disk.

    If you want to see which folders of that drive are being protected you will need to drill down a recovery point (The same way you do when you go to recovery tab, and go through folders of a protected data source).
