sql self service recovery for non domain member host

Hello,
I want to know if we can configure the MS SQL self service recovery for a host that is not a domain member. Dont know much about DPM so excuse if this question sounds dumb :)

Hello,
The SSRT uses domain credentials to grand restore rights, so the user doing the restore must be logged into the domain that has those rights. If the machine is not part of the domain, then that will not work.

If I understand it corrrectly, non domain members are not supported for SSRT in latest 2012 DPM as well ?
