We are receiving an error upon activating one of our IAG 2007 servers (we have 2 load balanced)
The error is "Activation failed to lock the configuration files for trunk <xxxx>. Please try again in a few seconds"
We have restored the configuration from the last backup and restarted the server, but the error remains.
Any suggestions? The system is still working, but we are unable to make any changes to the config.
Regarding a fix to this I advised to backup registry run a recommended registry cleaner the restart server
Also Advise backing up the registry on a weekly basis to restore incase of issues in the future
