Re-Ordering Power View Tabs in Workbook

    Question

  • I would think this would be easy and apparent, but it isn't tonight.

I have a workbook that is a mix of normal spreadsheet tabs and Power View tabs.  I would like to now move Power View Tab 3 before Power View Tab 2.  It is currently somewhere else in the order of the tabs.  I can right click on the normal excel tab and I see an option to move the tab, but for the Power View tabs, I don't get that option  (Move / Copy is grayed out).  Is this unsupported, or am I simply doing something wrong.

    Thanks,

    Greg

  • One workaround - if you disable the Power View add-in it is possible to then reorder the sheets.

  • Unfortunately this is a gap in functionality, it's not possible to re-order sheets.

  • Hi,

If it helps anybody, there is a workaround for doing this even with Excel 2013.
