Problem with MS Excel 2010 formulas

Hello,
I recently purchased a copy of MS Office Professional Plus 2010 in France. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate (or Version Integrale as they say in French here).
The problem is that I need to use MS Office 2010 in English and not French. My "Display Language" for Windows 7 Ultimate is English AND the "Default Input Language" in Windows is English as well. Despite all this, all the MS Office programs start in french and I just can't use English formulas in Excel as well...
I've also verified MS Office Language Settings as well. The two languages (English and French) do appear in the language choices and English is set as default.
MS Word is automatically detecting both English and French and is correcting the typo errors; which basically means that the language dictionaries are already installed.
Despite all this, MS Office still remains in French...
Any help would be highly appreciated!!
Sam.

Hi,
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 in France version includes the following:
•Display in French
•Help in French
•Proofing tools for French, Arabic, Dutch, English, German, and Spanish(The proofing tool of English is included in the Office 2010 French version, so you have seen the spell check works properly for English. But the displaying language of Office isn’t the same thing.)
If you need the product displays in English, I would suggest you contact Microsoft local support to see if they can help replacing the Office 2010 products for you.
Sincerely

Thanks Rex!
One last question for you please. Do you think that my problem would be resolved if I buy an MS Office 2010 Language pack?
Thanks again,
Sam.

Hi,
Yes. After you install the language pack, you will need to set the default display and Help language to Office 2010 refer to the following article:

Thank you very much again, Rex, for your very kind help!
I've been thinking about this issue and one other solution would be to install the English trial version of MS Office 2010 Professional Plus. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/professional-plus/
And then use my activation key to activate this version.
Do you believe that my MS Office Pro Plus 2010 (French version that I bought) activation key would work on the US version as well? Thanks again!Sam.

Thanks Rex!
I keep on bothering you, but it's really hard to get in touch with local Microsoft Customer Service for help.
You mentioned that the product activation key is bundled with the specified product. In my case, it remains the same product, i.e. Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2010. The only difference is the language.
Thanks,
Sam.

Hi,
The Office products between French version and English version aren't the same. If you open the installation resource folder, you will see in French version the folders' name end with fr-fr, but in English version they end with en-us.
The contact number of Microsoft Consumer Customer Service Center in France is: 09 70 01 90 90. How about try this?
If there is anything I can do for you, please feel free to let me know.
