Unanswered Time restrictions on Excel?

We have an excel sheet that is used for work, well actually we haven't needed to use it for a long time.

Anyway, now it is something we want to use again but the original developer of the sheet put time restrictions on its use, as in after every few months a couple of the fields would stop working. The developer left some time ago so we can't get the fields working again.

The field that we are restricted against is a look up field to another sheet. The sheet with all the actual data is available but when selecting the option it allows us to populate other calculations. As such the data list has many hundreds of lines of lookup data hence when need it to work properly.

Can anyone assist in a work around to nullify the date expiration on a sheet?

    thanks

And yes we(the company I work or) owns the IP and all content on the sheet so I am not trying to steal any such data...just in case anyone was thinking it!!!!

    Hi

    Are the sheets unlocked?

Do you have access to the project source code?

If they are locked, if you email it to me I can unlock them and send it back to you.

I am sure we can beat a dodgy programmer's efforts to trip you up!

    Hi,

I am not very clear about the sentence “when selecting the option it allows us to populate other calculations”. What is the option? And what is the other calculations?

Did the workbook work via vba code? And the code now is not work or something else?
