Unable to open correctly Excel 2007 Macro Enabled Sheet on Excel 2010

A commercial application is available as Excel2007.xlsm file. On 2007 it will ask for Macro enabling and Open it correctly. I have placed the company as TRUSTED in 2010. Yet, when opened, it doesnt enable any macro. It doesnt even prompt for macro enabling.
Are the file formats and macros fully upward compatable from 2007--> 2010?
How do I overcome this?
