    I have a new laptop with office 2010 starter and would like to upgrade Excel only; is that possible?  also, can I input Office 2003 software on this laptop separately?  That way I would not have to upgrade the Excel 2010.

    Hi,

    If you mean upgrading only the Excel Starter 2010 to a full version, you can purchase a Stand-alone version of Excel.

    For using the Office 2003 products on new laptop, you’d better to contact Microsoft Customer Service to confirm it.
    Usually, we cannot transfer the Office 2003 programs from one computer to another because the product key may be used for 1 user 1 PC.
