    Hi all,

I get an issue with the OOF.

The response mail are correctly generated but never receive by the sender.

When I look in the "Message tracking log" on my server, I see that all out of office mail are in "FAIL" status with the following error :

"550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable"

I try several test from different mailbox ( gmail, hotmail...) always the same error.

    Thanks for Help.

Verify who the intended recipient is on the message?

    What does MT show?

For the test I used my professional mailbox and my personnal one.

I put OOF on on my pro mailbox and send an email from my personnal.

Message tracking log the following entry:

    Date - eventID (FAIL) - Source (SMTP) - SourceContext(xxxx) - MessageID(xxxxxx) - Message subject - Sender ( My pro email @ ) - Recipients ( My personnal email @ )- .......- Recipient Status ( Error 550)

    hope it will help.

    thanks

Can you send email from your pro to personal without issue?

Do you have any AV/AS installed? Removed and checked?

How does email route out Outlook>Exchange>Intenet?

Do yo have a smarthost or any other gateway filtering?

Can you test with another domain, like a colleague from another company?

    Does it work internally?

    Hello,

the probleme came from my firewall.

I update the SMTP outgoing rules from my FW and now the OOF works.

    Thanks

Typical, as I mentioned above "Do yo have a smarthost or any other gateway filtering?"
