    Hi There,

    A user who synchronizes his mailbox with both an iPad and iPhone has recived the following message;

    Synchronization with your iPad failed for 1 items.

    The following items couldn't be sent to your mobile phone. They haven't been deleted. You should be able to access them using either Outlook or Outlook Web App.

    Item Folder:

    Item Type:

    IPM.Schedule.Meeting.Resp.Pos

    The customer is running SBS 2011 running Exchange 2010 SP1 with Rollup 1 (14.1.255.2). Not sure what version of iOS yet, but they will let me know. I suspect it will be iOS5. I have found the following technet thread, but there doesn't seem to be a definative fix for this issue.

    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/b08e1e35-c305-43c0-9b35-3ad5a3074434

    Is the fix to apply rollup 3, and if so do i need to appy rollup 2 and then 3. I have noticed that you can get rollup 6 now so could i just install that? Or would Service Pack 2 be worth installing? Or is there a known fix out there for this problem which i haven't been able to find. There was an article about checking that the users active directory security permission's are being inherinted from the parent.

    Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks

    David.

    I would go for SP2, then RU2. SP1 RU1 is really old

    ( And no you dont need to apply each rollup, they are cumulative. So if you applied SP1 Ru6, it would include all the previous rollups.)
