Hi
I tried to establish an Edge subscrition, but I always receive the following error:
EventID: 1035
Source: MSExchange EdgeSync
Description: EdgeSync failde to synchronize because it only support Cryptographic API certificates. The local Hub Transport server's default certificate with thumbprint ..... isn't a CAPI certificateI used a certificate from our internal CA, which has been generated using a new template for generating such certificates.
If I use the self signed certificate, it works.Regards
Peter

Hi.
You must issue a new certificate to the Exchange server 2010 from (CA) certification center.
2 If they has, then import the certificate from the Management Console on the hubTransport Server
3 then run Enable-exchangecertificate -Thumbprint 3edf8dd76822ab5cb7a0e9629b461d6e4 ****** -Services SMTP
4 Again, make Edge Subscrirtion -

Hi ,
Maybe the certificate which use new template generate is not CAPI certificate.
Since Exchange 2007, the self-signed certificate is created by the computer that is running Microsoft Exchange by using the underlying Windows Certificate API (CAPI).
So self-signed certificate works.
