Hello,
Currently we have the following environment:
- 1 Exchange 2003 server
- 2 Exchange 2010 servers
All mailboxes are already moved to Exchange 2010 and every public folder has a replica on Exchange 2010.
Still we are having the following event id logged every 15 minutes:
Event id 14029 | source: MSExchangeMailboxAssistants
- Couldn't find an Exchange 2010 or later public folder server with a replica for the free/busy folder: EX:/O=V.Z.W. SINT-ANDRIESZIEKENHUIS/OU=ExchangeOrg.
However I'm 100 % sure there is a replica on both Exchange 2010 servers for this folder AND I can see that this folder contains all the items on Exchange 2010.
We have Outlook 2003 and 2010 users but none of them are having free-busy issues. How can I get rid of this errors?
Can I decommission the Exchange 2003 environment without risk?Thx in advance!
Kind regards, Mike

First, get rid of that error (if possible). What happens if you restart the Information Store? Sometimes it is as easy as that:
net stop MSExchangeIS && net start MSExchangeIS
Caution: Mail will be unavailable during the restart.

Monday, August 29, 2011 12:59 PMI agree with Jon-Alfred, its better to get rid of the error message.
Run this in EMS and make sure you have a replica:
get-publicfolder -Identity "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE\SCHEDULE+ FREE BUSY" -Recurse | fl name,Replicas

Hi
It is very normal error.
1. Run cmd to check replica and restart MailboxAssistances service
