OAB Exchange 2010

Friday, August 10, 2012 4:51 AMI have a mixed client environment of Outlook 2003/2010 on Exchange 2010. I have public folder set up on CAS server. OAB download work great for Outlook 2010 and I know that autodiscover does not work on Outlook 2003. My question is, if I go to CAS > Orginization Configuration >Offline Address Book and I right-click on an OAB and select properties. Then go to the Distribution Tab. Can I enable both Web Based Distribution and Public Folder Distribution? Will this resolve not being able to download OABs on Outlook 2003 clients? Will this cause any issues for my Outlook 2010 clients that are getting web based distribution?

it won't cause you any issues
It should resolve the issue for your Outlook 2003 clients
