Will we need to install SP2 before post-SP2 RU1 ?
- I assume there will be a RU1 for SP2 for Exchange 2007.
(I wish the Rollup numbers would not start over after the SP. Maybe it should be RU10.)
Will we be able to go from E7 / SP1 /RU8 direclty to E7 / SP2 / RU1 ?
Or, will we have to first do a separate upgrade to E7 / SP2 ?
I am trying to determine if we should wait for the RU1.
I wonder when it will be available ?

- You will need to install SP2 before installing RU1. RU's only contain the updates since the SP not the full Service Pack.

- You'll need to install the SP before you can apply any RUs.
If you look at any KB for the current rollups, they state:
- Exchange Server 2007 SP1 must be installed prior to installing this update rollup.
- This update rollup cannot be installed if you are using Exchange Server 2007 RTM.
