Hi,
I have a windows server 2008 r2 that we have setup with the Fax Server component, we have this working fine We have an exchange 2007 server that sits in the same domain that has a public folder with contacts in it.
Is there a way we could link these contacts to the fax server role

I've never heard of the Windows Fax server being integrated with Exchange. Exchange 2007 provides some fax capability with its Unified Messaging Role.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi,
I've also have not heard about Fax Server, but we can offer quite elegant solution for this. But it it would either require pooling or subscribe to the "new item event" mechanism looking for a new contacts which have been created in a mailbox and then inserting it into the Fax Server.
We have a connector which allows you to retrieve contacts from Microsoft Exchange Server. But you would need to write a .net application which does the other part of the job.
Could this be a suitable solution for you?
