I have a dell computer and have Norton systemworks 2003 in my computer.  I went ahead for the first time to do my backup with ghost instead of my usual way.  Now my computer is completely down.  After starting Ghost, it restarted the computer and just stayed on a blue page.  It wouldn't respond at all so I ended up turning off the computer to restart it.  However, now when it boots up it says Drive 1 not found: Serial ATA, SATA-2.  Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility.  So if I press F1 to continue I am given the choice to Run Norton Ghost Dos Operation or to return to windows without running norton ghost.  If I choose to return to windows it says that is is exiting dos but then freezes up.  If I choose to run norton ghost it will say To return to Windows, type ghreboot and 0ress enter.
    C:/GHOST>

Does anyone know anything about this?  I need help!

when norton ghost does a backup. it starts in DOS mode, which inturn creat a small partition on the c drive. when the norton fail to do the backup. the MBR is locked in the Norton partition.
to correct this, you need a hard prattion software to reset the boot to the windows partion.
there are lots partion software on the Internet, unless you know what to do once you get the software, otherwise I suggest yu take the PC to some one know what to do.

I use partition commander, it is not the easiest software to use, specially when you have Windows Vista.
