    Backup job does not start until 23:00 trying to identify why this would happen 35 minutes before backup is due to start

    OS is windows 2008
    Exchange is 2007
    Backup exec is 12.5

    Fault was down to a clustered disk that Backup exec was backing up to becoming unavailable at the time of the backup job, enable the cluster destination and alls well now

    Hi,

    Found the following on a forum:

    It may have to do with IPV6. BE uses IPV4 hash out the ::1 reference on the Exchange server and place in 127.0.0.1 references for the system name & system FQDN. Seems there is an issue with Server 2008 when RPC over HTTPS is running it prefers to use different ports on IPV6.
