Hi All,
I would like to configure one of my exchange 2010 mail account on my HTC Smart Phone.
I tried to configure it by providing the user name and password along with the domain details.
But I couldn't able to login as if it could not verify the user name.
Please let me know the required settings to make it successfull (At Exchange Server and At Smart Phone).
Reagrds,
Ram.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
It was asking for the Server name, What name shall I give here?
All users are connected to our remote server, from there it has taken the server name automatically. But in this case what shall I do?
Regards,
Ram.

I have the rights to access the exchange server.
I tried giving the Exchange Server name, Ip address of the server, but nothing worked.
Shall I give our remote server address or Shall I give public IP?
Please let me know how to determine the server address exactly in my scenario?
Regards,
Ram.

Hi,
Now I am getting error like "Authentication failed, please verify user name and password."
I am providing the same user name and password which I am successfully accessing with owa.
What could be the reason for this problem?

Hi,
I suggest you this tool to test for your Exchange ActiveSync:
https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/
If you didn't get any error when you test with this tool, this may not Exchange related issue, you can contact HTC support to help on this issue.
If you still get this error when you use the tool, please post the test result in your next post.
Thanks,
Evan

Hi,
I tested with https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ and the result is FAILED.
Only one test is Successfull i.e., "Attempting to resolve the host name." Remaining all tests failed.

Looks like you've got multiple problems.
1. Looks like you don't have port 443 (ssl) open to your Exchange server externally? Can you get to your webmail server outside using ssl HTTPS://mail.company.com ?
2. Autodiscover externally is not working. Does your cert contain the name autodiscover.company.com? If not you either need to create an srv record or buy a SAN cert that contains autodiscover.company.com in addition to mail.company.com
