Remove / Uninstall MSOutlook off Exchange
- Hello,
I am having MAPI issues with exchange and have come to find that it has outlook installed on it.
I have searched the Internet to see if it's safe to remove it; but there aren't to many articles saying it will be fine to uninstall and there will be no problems.
Has anyone in here had to remove outlook from an exchange box? Or, does anyone know of any potential issues in doing so.
Even though we will be snap-shotting first, thought I would ask.
Thanks- Changed TypeXiu Zhang - MSFTMSFT, ModeratorWednesday, November 04, 2009 6:54 AMneed to clarify the issue with customer

Please uninstall Outlook from Add/Remove as they share MAPI32.dll.
