Halo thinks I am not running as Administrator on Windows 7 RC
- I booted my Windows 7 RC. It claims no updates are outstanding.
I launch Halo (1).
I go to Multiplayer | Direct IP, but my favorite server was full.
I go to Multiplayer | Internet, and Halo does its usual check for updates when I receive a window with the notice:
You must have Administrator privileges to download this required patch.
It turns out I am logged in as Administrator and I have previously downloaded patch(es) since it was needed to get the CD install up to date on 7 RC.
What gives?
