Hi,
If you are sending message to remote domain from your send mail and getting NDR code 5.7.1 this means that remote SMTP server is rejecting your IP request and could be blocked at remote server.
Error Code : 5.7.1
................................................................................................................................................................................................
Permissions problem::
For some reason the sender is not allowed to email this account. Perhaps an anonymous user is trying to send mail to a distribution list.
Check SMTP Virtual Server Access Tab. Try checking this box: Allow computers which successfully authenticate to relay
User may have a manually created email address that does not match a System Policy
................................................................................................................................................................................................
Alternativley you need to check whether you are able to send message thru SMTP command from your SMTP server. Its could be issue of blacklist of your IP by remote server.
Check whether you are getting error (IP is mismatch) when sending mails thru SMTP command.
sending email with telnet ;

Hi,
I would like to know if you have changed in configuration in outlook profile for the POP3 user account. If at all there were any changes done recently I would suggest recreating the outlook profile to fix this problem. This is neither a problem with Exchange nor with Send mail program. I would also advise to follow Anil's suggestion if this does not help. Checking your IP address for any blacklisting would be a good start too.
Thanks,
M

Hi,
First I try to understand the question:
You have configured your mail client to use POP3/SMTP. For SMTP you are using port 25/TCP, what is the Default recevie connector on your HUB Transport.
If the things above are correct:
The Default receive connector (by the default Exchange configuration) will not allow you to relay messages even to authenticated users. My recomendation would be to use Client receive connector instead (located on port 587/TCP)
