Attachment Filtering
- I read about Attachment Filtering @ http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124399.aspx
Does this filtering apply only on inbound emails or do they apply to outbound emails too?
In other words, If I choose to silently block the attachments, will OUTGOING emails from my exchange having filtered attachment types also be blocked silently?

- It cleary says "You can use the following types of attachment filtering to control attachments that enter or leave your organization:"
So it is for inbound and outbound both.

- Yes, attachment filtering can be applied to both inbound and outbound email messages.
