Hi Guys,
can someone please check something for me please regarding Exchange 2007 OWA.
If someone clicks on an attachment using OWA, is the attachment also saved in the temporary internet folder?
or is the file only saved, if someone doubleclicks the attachment to open it inside of the assigned application?
Thanks a lot!
H.

The attachment file will temporary save on your Internet temp folder, which is system hidden by default
you need set all the folder visable include system folder
you can find them from the below directory:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

Hello HeikoN,
As a response to your questi
ons: The Attachment File is getting saved in Content.IE5 Folder which is part of temporary internet file.
If you directly open the attachment in outlook web access and edit the file and save the file, the attachment file will be saved in temporary internet file folder and this is by design.
If you need to edit the attachment, we need to save the file to desktop or My Document, edit the file and edited document will be saved and be visible in the Search.
