Hoping someone can help with my problem.

I work in a school and we are going to be using exchange 2007 and OWA, currently testing the set up and everything is running fine.  The problem is with the display names.

When a kid logs onto to XP, we want the display name to show their username and Full Name in the start menu (usernames will be random numbers therefore the full name needs to be there as well for identification), this is so teachers can check the person logged on is the correct person, easy enough to do.  But in exchange we can not have the kids Names shown on emails they send out due to security for the kids.

Now if we populate the display field in either AD or Exchange 2007 they replicate it between each other.

Is there anyway to hide the display name from emails or stop this specific field from replicating between AD and Exh2007 ?

    Cheers for your Help

Have found out where the option is to do this, its under remote domains and a tick box for display senders names, got all exited! but I have unticked this in the default remote domain policy and nothing happened.  Also created my own remote domain policy for a certain domain with it unticked and still emails are showing the display name.  Anybody got this working ?

    Thanks  David
