I am using SBS 2003 Premium eddition which comes with exchange server 2003, I will change the name from AD users and computers, and see if the old name still pops up on the outlook 2003 when the user send email.- Marked As Answer byElvis Wei -MSFTMSFT, ModeratorFriday, November 13, 2009 6:46 AM
- That should work. I think you were only trying to do from the outlook and not the server side. Change the display name in the AD itself and that will get reflected on the Outlook.

- I changed the name in ADUC-the display name not the user name- and it works I can see her new name name on the email when she sends email. but on the GAL the old name is still there, I have a test user that I created for such cases I will change the name I mean the user name and see what will happen, since her email is still the same.
Hi,
Please check the result in OWA. In Outlook, I guess you're using cache mode and the Offline address book is not updated yet. Please update the OAB and see the result.
Thanks,
Elvis
