Dear all
I have an Exchange 2007 with a performance issue.
It is one machine having all roles installed. There were about 70 users and it was working fine.
We added about 60 clients with mobile devices, most of them are iPhones.
After that, many outlook clients (windows Xp, office 2007) are "trying to reconnect". They are trying from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to reconnect.
I checked performance on the storage (where the DB is installed) and it is OK.
I also checked the network from the managed switches, it is OK
I ran exmon and saw that iPhones spend many resources on the exchange server, about 10 times more than an outlook client!
Is this normal? should I install a second exchange server as client access??

Hi
I think it is normal.
You can read this technet blog of this problem.
http://blogs.technet.com/b/mikelag/archive/2008/07/15/iphone-2-0-and-high-cpu-usage-on-exchange-servers.aspx
You can try to update exchange 2007 to last sp rollup and test it again.
Second cas server is also situation.Terence Yu
