HI,
that scenario isn’t supported in Exchange 2000.You are trying to achieve Database portability ,that feature first introduced in Exchange 2003 and it was enhanced in Exchange 2007.

Hi,
You can install Exchange 2000 SP3 or SP2 in Windows 2003 domain controller environment, but you cannot install Exchange 2000 on windows 2003.if you install Exchange 2000 Sp2 that may require additional hotfix to compatible with Windows 2003 DC.
You might need to run ADprep fix for Exchange 2000 to add new attributes into the AD.I have mentioned below articles for your reference.

In fact i was allready forestPreped and domainPreped, so i had no issue for exchange 2000 installation.
Now how can i reconnect "priv1.edb" and "priv1.stm" and the "log" files ?
Best regards
Romain HI,
In fact I was already forestPreped and domainPreped, so i had no issue for exchange 2000 installation.
Did you have run above command for windows 2003 R2 domain controller?
Now how can i reconnect "priv1.edb" and "priv1.stm" and the "log" files ?
I can’t understand above statement of yours. Per my understand you trying to paste old exchange database files in to this new server. Per my knowledge Exchange 2000 doesn’t support database portability even in same exchange organization. Please refer below whitepaper for more information about Exchange 2000 Disaster Recovery
