I have installed a 2 Node CCR Cluster with the following specifications:

    1.       Windows 2008 x64 Enterprise Service Pack 2

    2.       Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1

The Windows 2008 installation is Volume Licensed and Successfully Activated for both nodes. However when I tried to enter the License for the CCR Cluster using a Volume License that has been used for Enterprise Activation in other office branches I get the following message:

    (screen shot will not paste)

(Of Course I cut out my product key for this publication!)

I then upgraded the CCR to Exchange Service Pack 2 and tried again… I received the same error.

I also tried installing the Product Key from the Exchange command shell with the following result:

    (screen shot will not paste)

(Again I removed my product key in the illustration)

The Error clearly indicates a key problem but the strange this is that other offices are installing Enterprise Versions of the Software with the same key! Am I trying to License the nodes incorrectly? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Also Note, this key works fine when Licensing Standard Installations.
