    I keep getting bounced around...exchange forum sent me to the iis forum and the iis forum has sent me back to the exchange forum. Can anybody help??

    Why does the www service on my new exchange server keep disabling itself? Our original server is an Exchange 2000 and it runs fine. We have added an Exchange 2003 server to the network and it runs fine, except that the www service keeps disabling itself. I have to enable and start it a couple times a day or more. What could cause this?

    Original Server Specs:

    Windows 2000 SP4
    Exchange 2000 Enterprise - Version 6.0 (Build6249.4: Service Pack 3)

    New server Specs:

    Windows 2003 Enterprise SP2
    Exchange 2003 Enterprise - Version 6.5 (Build 7638.2: Service Pack 2)

    Here the two errors in the application log:

    OALGen could not find the address list with the Active Directory object GUID of '/guid=B1D748F52D310E41AF34D3F1228C0883' in the list of available address lists. Please check the offline address list configuration object.

    OALGen encountered error 8004010f while initializing the offline address list generation process. No offline address lists have been generated. Please check the event log for more information.

    Here is the results of the ExBPA:

    Exchange mailbox server email.domain.com has 1 GB or more of memory, accommodates 20 mailboxes, and does not have /3GB set in the Boot.ini file. Greater scalability would be achieved if this were set. Memory detected: 3927 MB.

    Server email.domain.com has 1 GB or more of memory, accommodates 20 mailboxes, and the 'HeapDeCommitFreeBlockThreshold' parameter has not been set to 262144. Virtual memory may become quickly fragmented and system instability may occur.

    Nothing in the event logs? What other  3rd party software is installed on the Exch server? (A/V, anti-spam, etc..)

    Well, the error events (9334, 9344) seem related to OAB generation rather than WWW service. Do you encounter related issue about OAB? Can the OAB be downloaded successfully?

    Please enable the diagnostic logging:

    Server->Properties->Diagnostic logging ->MsExchangeSA ->OAL Generator

    Please check at the “Properties” of mailbox store and verify if it was pointing to right OAB:

    Mailbox store ->Properties->General

    Please check the “Properties” of Default Offline Address List, and delete those entries from there except the Default Global Address List. Then rebuild the Default Offline Address List. After that, set the “Maintenance Interval” to “Run Now” at the “Properties” of public store
