    Hi.
    I am slowly learning Exchange.

I disabled a user in AD (he left the company) but I need that:
1/ another user can receive his emails
    2/ see his old mailbox

Please advise me the best way to do this. Thank you.

The way we do this is by enabling the user (change pw on account) but hide the email address under the users exchange advanced settings, "hide from address list".

The email from out side will still be recieved. Then the 2nd user that needs to see his email you will need to give permission on the old users email.  This again will be under the old user's profile under the email advanced settings, click the "mailbox rights" section allow the new user to view the mail. Then to view the old users email have the user open the mailbox from outlook, file, open, other user's file.
