Exchange 2007 activesync error password
- HI
I have the following incident with exchange 2007 activesync.
for security policy every 30 days change the user account password in the domain, but when I change the password in the comain to a user who has activesync Windows Mobile, when the mobile device sync does not ask for update the password gives error code 85010014 and many attempts the user accountis bloqued.
to update the password on the mobile device is necessary to open the activesync settings and update your password from the server options int he mobile
With the release of exchange 2003 when I performed the change password of a user who had OMA and synchronized your mobile device automatically asked for the password to the update.
The question is:
What can I do so that when users exchange 2007 activesync change their password on the mobile device ask automatically to update the password and not have to enter server settings in ActiveSync to update the password.
Thanks for your help

Please verify the functionality of ActiveSync:
1. Please check “Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync” virtual directory
a. Launch IIS
b. “Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync”>Directory Security> Authentication and access control
c. Please make sure “enable anonymous access” is unchecked
d. Then right-click the virtual directory and select Browse, the expected behavior should be “ 501/505” error
2. Please test the configuration of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
a. Launch EMS
b. Test-ActiveSyncConnectivity -MailboxCredential (Get-Credential domain\username) | fl
c. Enter the user name and password in the jumped window
d. Check the output
If all tests is success for ActiveSync, please verify the configuration of ISA server
Using ISA Server 2006 with Exchange ActiveSync
Publishing Exchange 2007 OWA, Exchange ActiveSync and RPC/HTTP using the 2006 ISA Firewall
Publishing Exchange Server 2007 with ISA Server 2006
Notes: Mobile devices (active sync) only work when listener authentication is set to Basic (with basic delegation) on ISA

Check info:
1. What’s the model of the mobile device?
2. Does the issue happen to all mobile devices?
3. Please create a test mailbox and see if you can reproduce the issue with the new mailbox
4. Please increase diagnostic level for the following categories, and then reproduce the issue, see if there’s any error event in the application log (Reference)
l MSExchange ActiveSync\Requests

On Chris De Herrera's Windows CE Website you can find ActiveSync error codes and solutions . You can read there about error 85010014, that can get a lot of reasons, but i think you need try to fix Kerberos for the first.
"Нет высшего наслаждения для интеллигентного человека, чем уничтожить мировой шедевр" © - The diagnostic level can be increased on CAS server
