Support Code 0x85010014
- trying to synch my HP IPAQ 2400 series with my laptop but I get the msg 'Activesynch problem on desktop' and the above SC. This advised me to upgrade to Asynch 4.5 from 4.1 so I did this but when I attempt to open the download I get the msg "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid Windows Installer package" WHAT!!!!!??????
I'm just a user and don't really understand this or who to turn to. Both the laptop and handheld are HP devices so I would have thought there would be no problems

- Hi,
What’s your OS? Windows Vista or Windows XP? If you’re using Windows Vista, you should use Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 . If Windows XP, please download Activesync 4.5.You mentioned it’s failed to be installed, please download it from the link I provided above and try again.

- Hi Elvis
I am also having problems syncing my HP iPAQ 210. Up until this past weekend there was no problem syncing what so ever. Tonight I try to sync and I get the support code 0x85010014. After googling, I uninstalled Windows Mobile Device and reinstalled as I have Windows Vista. I am still unable to sync. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Britt Hi Britt,
If the suggestion above doesn't work, as this is Exchange Server forum, regarding sync with Desktop issue, I suggest you writing a post on our Windows Mobile forum for helphttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsmobile/
Thanks,

- I jst upgraded to Windows 7, prior I was running VISTA with no sync problems. Since the upgrade I can not sync my Black Jack 1, to my Outlook 2003. I have instaleed and removed the Windows Mobile Device center twice. The last time I did a disk clean and defrag, with restart to be sure the old load with gone. I am still getting a Support Code of 0x85010014. Any suggestions? My upgrade was horrible, with the end result of reformatting the C-drive, and loading from the WIN 7 disk.
- Hi Royj,
