setting up exchange on android phone

hello all, I configured the android galaxy s2 phone for corporate exchange emails but its not getting emails.
the end users mailbox has active sync enabled. is that all that needs to be done on server side? I am thinking its an asa firewall issue what ports need to be open to get exchange to communicate back and forth with the device and is there any security risk involved by opening these ports?
how do you find the exact info that needs to be put in the configuration?
is it the smtp ingoing and outgoing info if so where would that be in a corporate environment mailing where on the exchange server would I find the smtp ingoing and outgoing address? if its not there do I need to set one up?

1. Enable activesync on exchange 2010

2. Install SSL certificate, open port 443.
3.You can read this guide of how to set up activesync account by this guide.Terence Yu

hey terence thanks for replying guess what my configuration was correct but, guess if your part of the I.T. group where else you need to enable settings? this is a good one took me a while to find it. In a/d in the users profile under security in the permission entries all the exchange servers etc. check include inheritable permissions from this objects parent! once you do one it will do it for all, very important if you dont and your in the I.T. group it will not work. There is a tech out there who posted the fix and I am paying it forward.- Marked As Answer by Neil D Smith Tuesday, June 12, 2012 9:05 PM
