Exchange 2003 Mailbox database failed to backup with checksum error.
please have anyone seen this error message, one of my storage group failed to backup with checksum error, The people that look after the SAN have checked that there is no error relating to bad sector in the SAN. this is the log attached:

The expected checksum was 5976570300895068160 (0x52f10b0600000000) and the actual checksum was 24067615317016743 (0x0055815e5d8fc0a7). The read operation will fail with error -1018 (0xfffffc06). If this condition persists then please restore the database from a previous backup. This problem is likely due to faulty hardware. Please contact your hardware vendor for further assistance diagnosing the problem.
Please i need urgent help as i need to repair the database, i try to copy the online database, it says another process is using the E00.log

I think it could be a hardware issue. We may need to create a new store and then move all the mailbox from the affected store.
Beisdes,we can use eseutil /k "edb file" to check data integrity of pages in the database
