Battling to re-install Operations Manager 2007 Reporting Server Part - Please HELP

Maybe you can help me.
Something happened to my operations manager reporting installation and I need to re-install but I'm having problems.
My SCOM 2007 instance has been recently upgraded to SP1 RC. Operations Manager and Operations Manager Data warehouse is both upgraded to SP1 RC and all data is still intact.
The problem comes in when I want to re-install the Reporting Server part. The installation does not want to go through successfully it just rolls back. I'm guessing it has got something to do with the management pack versions. Any ideas? The log file does not say much and I cannot run the upgrade as it complains about missing ops manager report components.
The bad thing is that I have to generate reports tomorrow for management and reporting is not working.
Have you come across this problem before?

Same exact thing here as well.... aside from a server re-build I guess there is no solution.
