Answered Restrict senders on SMTP

    hi,

    i have created a send connector which allows the user to send email to internet

    however i want certains users, certain DG and certain IP range which should not be allowed to send email to outside

    but they should be ALLOwed to send email within the exchange organization

    Please assist

    hi Ed,

    how to do it without transport rules is any other mechanism all in the transport rules i cannot set the IP range only for a certain user or a Distrubuted group but how to do it for a certain IP ranges

    is there a mechanism to do it from send or recieve connector.

    Please advice

    Send Connector can setup retristion based on domain level, but not based on user. Your understanding would be appreciated.

    dont you think this is down side of the Exchange 2010

    which might be or should be taken care in next release exchange 2013
