Answered Internal mail with attachment marked as spam

    Hi,

        Internal mails sent with any attachment marked as spam, How to resolve ?

    Blank mail sent internally, works fine.

        Antivirus product for exchange got expired and looking for alternate AV product.

    No rules been modified.

    seems like you're using atrend av, can you uninstall if expired and test again. Also run the below via EMS.

    If it has expired I would uninstall, or you can try to disable the agents 1st. If disabling the agent doesn;t work, uninstall ScanMail and then check if agents are enabled, if yes, disable and test again.

    Hi Sukh,

                Few errors found in Event viewer,

    Event iD - 1022 & category - SmtpReceive 

    Anti-spam agents are enabled, but the list of internal SMTP servers is empty. If there are any MTAs between this server and the Internet, populate this list by using the Set-TransportConfig cmdlet in the Exchange Management Shell.

    Event iD - 1004 & category - General

    Basic authentication is available over plain text connections.

    Event iD - 9153 & category - General

    Microsoft Exchange System Attendant reported an error '0x80072020' when setting DS notification.

    Event iD - 2003 & category - None

    The configuration information of the performance library "C:\WINDOWS\system32\aspperf.dll" for the "ASP" service does not match the trusted performance library information stored in the registry. The functions in this library will not be treated as trusted.

    Those are different, not related to the attachment issue you have. The only exception is the 1022 which may be related but very unlikely. All you are doing is using a MFD to send scans/email etc.... right#?

    Hi Sukh,

                After removing AV for Exchange issue fixed. 

    All internal mail without attachment working fine & not marked as spam now.
