Hyper-V CSV 2012 deploy on a single node

  • Hi

    Due to a migration issue, is ther a possiblity to deploy Hyperv 2012 CSV (cluster) on a SINGLE node and later on (feu days) to attach the second node to the array?

    Yes, it's possible to create a one-node cluster. Naturally, you'll receive warnings when you run the cluster validation wizard, but this is a common approach when migrating/upgrading cluster nodes.

    yes you can go with single node cluster, make sure your luns's and other setting are in place on first node, you will get some warning or error as validation test require at least two nodes.

    later you can add your second node. before adding the second node you can go with validation check.
