    Question

  • There are Currently no log-on servers available to services the log-on request.

This is Error Found on Windows 8 OS

    My Lab Scenario

    I have 2 Domain y2j.com and xyz.com Both are Server 2012 Datacenter

I have Made External Trust-relationship between Each other

    I have (PC-1) i.e. Windows 8 Computer which is (Domain of ) in xyz.com

As i create External Trust With Both the Domain I should Access y2j.com user "sagar" from (PC-1) Windows 8 of xyz domain.

But I am Getting Error "There are Currently no log-on servers available to services the log-on request."

Well Both Domain's Forest and Domain Functional Level is "server 2012".

They are communicating with each other.

Even I add y2j.com Domain user name "sagar" to "allow log on locally"

as I was trouble Shooting , Lab Scenario, I "Enforced" the Setting under Group Management; That Time I got another Error at log on with Sagar User in PC-2 Windows 8 OS

i.e. " The Trust Relationship between this Workstation and the Primary Domain Failed"

    I don't Understand the Problem

But I have Done External Trust On Server 2008 R1 That was Successful

Plz Help Me Out to Solve the Problem

    or

Give Me some Steps Of Server 2012

    Thank you!!

  • Hi,

your y2j clients need to be able to resolve hostnames of the xyz forest.

For this create conditional forwarders on the DNS servers on each side.

The setup is very similar, I would say identically, to the setup of trusts on 2008.
